Bump to What Now?! is fast becoming the go-to pregnancy and baby event in Colchester. The event was first launched in November 2021, a small event with just 14 businesses. It was started to bring together businesses with the same aims and ethos, to help parents of Colchester access the help they needed and deserved.
Since then, there have been 5 more Bump to What Now?! events, growing in offerings and in reach each year. We now have 30 businesses attending and more who advertise in the printed program. Stall holders are mostly those businesses offering support or services for pregnancy, birth and the fourth trimester (the first 3-4 months of a babies life). With services covering fertility, nutrition, birth preparation, antenatal classes, babywearing, infant feeding, newborn classes, postnatal preparation and more. We pretty much have everything covered!
Being a stallholder at Bump to what Now?! is a rewarding experience. In fact, Colchester Perinatal Hug CIC was created because of the first Bump to What Now?! event. It was through that first event that connections were made and those local businesses in attendance realised they wanted to make something more permanent, something for clients to use throughout their journey into parenthood.
